Comic Preview
Just in time for Mardi Gras, I am sharing a bit of my comic work. It is still a WIP, so expect some things to change. My ko-fi page is available as a tip jar, if you like what you see. February Fan Art Fridays
I'm getting back into things. For each of the four Fridays in the month, I'll be sharing fan art of Deviants and other creatives whose work I've enjoyed over the years. They'll be posted here and on my other socials. More details to follow. This is meant to help me dive back into posting, as well as interact more with people. Let's have less AI and more hand-made art!
Commissions Updates
Back in April, I announced my plans to quit my job to chase my artistic pursuits - encouraged by friends, loved ones, coworkers and even my boss! Despite this promising start, I was in limbo for a while at work... Now it seems I'm officially "per diem". My work/life balance could be drastically changing soon. all of this is new and scary, hence the commissions. I've completed one, with another in the works. That leaves three spaces open currently, and they may stay open for some time. Meanwhile, I've been working on a few vanity projects here and there to keep things rolling. I'll try to stay active here, since the rest of social media is...well, you all know the state of things ^^;
UPDATE on Backgrounds
First, thank you to everyone who expressed an interest in my request for backgrounds. As a follow-up to my previous post, I thought I'd go into more detail on what I need. These include interiors as well as outdoor/nature and street scenes. NOTE: This is for comics I will be publishing online. YOU WILL RECEIVE CREDIT AS BACKGROUND ARTIST. I'm not looking to pirate anyone's work. Not sure if I could hire someone long-term to work with on my projects, but it's not entirely off the table either... For Tiger Spirit This is set in San Diego. I would need some city and street shots – maybe some views from rooftops *Mardi Gras in the Old City would helpful as well, for an upcoming issue.* Specific sets needed: An apartment/loft for the main character Interiors for the same building (a hallway, stairs, kitchen, and porch) A clinic I also have a vague sense of the villains’ lair: an underground chamber, maybe some part of the sewer… I can provide more information as need.
